I hate SEO companies. Below is my list of the most egregious SEO offenses. I know hate is a politically incorrect word, but in this case it is fitting. My disgust with SEO companies comes from days, and weeks of looking for pertinent SEO information. You might relate to a few of my top 10 offenses list. If you don't, let it serve as a warning. 99% of all SEO companies on the web look, dress, and present the same off-putting website style.

10. Every SEO company are "experts!" That's a laugh. I imagine most "experts" are living in their mom and dad's house, torching the bong like there is no tomorrow.

9. Getting free information will cost me an arm and a leg. Why is it that SEO service fees are hidden? That scares me dude. Then, when I order it, it becomes an invitation to repeatedly suck my bank dry?

8. The websites are so f-ing sterile! The websites say "Hey, we are just like every other SEO company with a white site!" Good luck trying to tell the difference between true SEO and flim flam SEO.

7. Everything will "explode" my profits! Really?! I could be selling vhs and beta machines for all you know. How much traffic will I need to explode my profits?

6. Everybody has a key to "the back door" of Yahoo. Right. The only people with back door keys to Yahoo is Yahoo, and they are not handing any out.

5. Excessive "black hat" warnings. You can stop reading endless pages about this crap. Black hat is spam or cheating of any kind to get ahead in search engines. Here is your diploma, now move along.

4. Every company says they are rated number one. I wonder what they mean when every SEO company says that? That reminds me, I'm rated number one too. Just ask my dog.

3. I really must attend some high dollar conference. Why? So I can sit and listen to an extended SEO product's sales pitch? Why would I pay money to be asked to pay more money?

2. The snobbery is exasperating. I don't need somebody telling me my sight "is a prime candidate for deep SEO work." Translation: drink the cool-aid, and money will magically appear in my bank account, after SEO's drain it! I don't think so, sir.

1. Unproven websites can hit page one of a search engine, while high quality websites with integrity are outshined by shady SEO trickery? Search engines should optimize for legitimacy and integrity instead flash trickery. Sorry, I can't make this one funny.

CoolSEOMarketingDirectory.com is a do-it-yourself SEO website. All SEO topics and articles are open and free. The products promoted are a group of the best SEO tools the entire web has to offer, not site specific tools. CoolSEOMarketingDirectory.com is a black, non-corporate completely unique kind of SEO website. It will chase away half of the visitors who come to it, simply because it looks nothing like a typical SEO website. I say thats too bad. If you want an average SEO website there are thousands of them out there. Real SEO should not be a cookie cutter copycat site. It should be unique and relevant in every way. After all, SEO should be for the benefit of people, not search engines.
