CIS Worldwide holds a database of public records for people to search for a fee. Accessed by may differnt public record sites we recomend staying away from this site and all sites that access this database of public records .
There are multiple public record websites out there that link to the CIS Worldwide (Complete Investigation Services) Database. They are listed in the links above.
They claim to be a one stop source for all your information needs.
If you do a google search for CIS Worldwide you find that there are mixed reviews ranging from great to consumer fraud.
So, We decided to check them out and see what they are really about.

On first impression CIS Worldwide seem to be very professional and well established public records database site.
Each access site claims to give you unlimited access to these public records for a one time fee usually $29.95. However this is misleading, what you are paying for is "credits" to do differnt searches for public records in their database. So in terms of "unlimited" that only applies until your money runs out at wich time you must purchase more "credits". All of this information is laid out in their terms and conditions, but could be made much more clear up front.
With that being said, when you access their website each search is labled with the amount it cost to perform, and if no results are returned then you are not charged. There are even some free searches you can perform such as:
- Relative search (Only returns imediate family)
- People search by name, phone, and address (I was unable to access this due to server problems on their end)
- Basic Background Check (I was unable to access this due to server problems on their end)
- Neghborhood Check (Returns cenus data for areas you specify, work fairly well)
As you can see I did not have much luck with the free searches because of lack of records in their database and technical difficulties with their database.
I then moved on to the paid searches to see if I would have a better experience. I did them on my self so I could check their accuracy, below is a summary of my results.

Results Returned: None
My money was refunded automaticly - Reverse Cell Phone Search
Cost: $15
Results Returned: 1
The information was correct except the carrier was my old carrier, and there is no name or address returned with the results - Phone Search By Name
Cost: $5
Results Returned: Recieve an error page
I was charged $5 Dollars and recieved no results. I submitted a refund request and was told by their customer support that I would have to contact Clickbank and Request a refund. - Sex Offender Search by Zipcode
Cost: $5
Results Returned: None for varies zipcodes
My money was refunded automaticly
In conclusion, considering the very little information that was retured, the accuacy of the resutls, and technical diffculties experienced this site is a complete waste of time and money. I suggest you stay away from this site.
